CVC Team Trials 2024
City 8-Ball Team Trials for CvC!
We are looking forward to a great turnout and fierce but fun competition in our City Vs Country 2024 teams trials!
All trials will be held Q Masters.
Start time for weekend trial dates will be confirmed as soon as possible.
➡️B Grade* – Saturday, 23rd March**
➡️A Grade & Women’s – Sunday, 24th March
➡️C Grade – Wednesday, 27th March from 7pm
*Div 2 and Div 2 Reserves are to trial for B grade
**We expect the B grade trial to be quite large so it may run into Sunday if required.
Cost to trial is $20 for all grades. This is payable in cash at the start of trials. Please bring correct change wherever possible.
Do not trial if you are aware that you cannot commit to the City Vs Country tournament dates or venues.
These are:
➡️4th to 6th May for A Grade & Women at Norths Cue Sports, Redcliffe
➡️24 to 26th May for B & C Grade at Ipswich Eight Ball.

Please note the following eligibility requirements, as per SQEBF By-Laws. Full By-Laws available on SQEBF’s website.
Players may only trial for one grade in one association.
Players who play for multiple associations should keep this in mind.
Players who cannot demonstrate a “substantial years’ worth of stats across one or more Eight Ball or International Rules leagues” will be deemed “provisional players” and are ineligible to enter B or C Grade City Vs Country
Players must be registered in the current season for a team in their association and have played a minimum of 3 matches
AND
- Existing players must have played 33% of all matches in their association fixture calendar in the 12-month period ending on the closing date of entries for the event OR
- New players (who have never played in an SEQ association before) must have played 33% of all matches in their association fixture calendar since their first match and have played a minimum of 5 matches OR
- Returning players (who have had at least 12 months off from playing in any SEQ associations) must have played 33% of all matches in their association fixture calendar since their first match upon returning and have played a minimum of 5 matches.
CVC Player’s in the B & C grades who win above 66.66% of matches must play in a grade higher at CVC for the next 3 years.
