Just some of the representative opportunities available to registered players. Note there are minimum match requirements and eligibility criteria to qualify for these events. Dates for these events sometimes vary year to year, so watch the socials and notices for announcements.

Team Events
City vs country (CVC)
Governing Body: Southern Qld Eight Ball
Duration: 3 Days
Against: Southern Queensland associations
Team Configuration/s:
A Grade – 6 players + 1 reserve
B Grade – 6 players + 1 reserve
C Grade – 5 players + 1 reserve
Women’s – 5 players + 1 reserve.
Format: Round Robin
Eligibility: Per SQEBF Bylaws.
Qualification: Selection by Round Robin 1 day tournament. Entry fee applies
Queensland Cup (Q CUP)
Governing Body: Qld Eight Ball Federation (Q Pool)
Duration: 3 Days
Against: Queensland associations
Team Configuration/s:
Open – 6 players, (2x State players + 2x Non-State players + 2x B Grade players)
Women’s – 4 players, (2x State players + 1x Non-State player + 1x B Grade player)
Definitions
Format: Round Robin
Eligibility: Per QEBF Bylaws.
Qualification: Committee selection based on performance at division championships, main season player statistics and availability for open team.
Women’s team selection based on performance at CVC women’s trials and women’s championships.
Country Cup
Governing Body: Qld Eight Ball Federation (Q Pool)
Duration: 3 Days
Against: Queensland associations
Team Configuration:
6 players, (2x Non-State players + 4x B Grade players)
Format: Round Robin
Eligibility: Per QEBF bylaws.
Qualification: Committee selection based on performance at division championships, main season player statistics and availability for open team
City Invitational
Governing Body: Brisbane based associations
Duration: 1 Day
Against: City 8 Ball, Brisbane Districts 8 Ball, Norths Cue Sports + 1x invited team
Team Configuration:
2x Non-state players + 2x B Grade players + 2x Women
Format: Round Robin (Home and Away)
Eligibility: Registered City 8 Ball players, (Minimum matches may apply)
Qualification: Selection entirely at the Committee’s discretion. (By Invitation only)
Singles Events
City 8 Ball Division Championships
Duration: 1 Day
Against: City 8 Ball registered members within each division, (1x competition per Division)
Format: Knockout
Eligibility: Registered City 8 Ball Players (Minimum matches and fees may apply)
Queensland Division Championships
Duration: 1 Day
Against: Queensland registered members within equivalent B and C Grades, (1x competition per Grade)
Format: Round Robin pools + Knockout (May vary)
Eligibility: Queensland Registered Players. Players must compete in highest association Grade they are participating in. (Subject to scrutiny by QEBF)
